Eleanore R. Pelton

Williamsfield, Ohio- Eleanore Ruth Pelton, 88, of Williamsfield, Ohio, died on January 6, 2006 at her residence with her son by her side. She was born on April 14, 1917 in Cleveland, Ohio to John J. and Marie E. (Koenigsmark) Zak. Formerly of Cleveland, Mrs. Pelton was a 1934 graduate of Parma High School. She was a Williamsfield resident since 1966. Mrs. Pelton was the owner of Karen's Flower Shop in Cleveland. She collected dolls, buttons, and enjoyed repairing china and flower gardening and arranging. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard G. Pelton, whom she married in 1941. Also preceded her in death is her parents and a daughter Karen M. Lewis. Mrs. Pelton is survived by two sons, Richard M. (Alice) Pelton of Huston, Texas, Robert J. (Donna) Pelton of Andover, Ohio, a sister, Lucil Manica of Parma, Ohio, 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2006, at 1:00 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio.
