Elisabeth Seamon

Elisabeth Seamon, age 97, of Williamsfield, OH, died Saturday, May 16, 2009 at her home. She was born April 26, 1912, in Yugoslavia, the daughter of Andreas and Kristina (Birmann) Wagner. A long time Williamsfield resident, Mrs. Seamon was formerly of Cleveland. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greenville, Pennsylvania, where she enjoyed helping make quilts that were sent overseas. She also was an avid gardener and enjoyed playing pinochle. Mrs. Seamon married Albert C. Seamon on July 14, 1956, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 16, 1978. She is survived by her daughter, Renate A. Seamon of Williamsfield; her step son, David Seamon of Cleveland, OH; four grandchildren, Denise, Walter, Neal, and Lisa; and five great grandchildren, Laura, Angela, Elizabeth, Mary, and Joshua. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, Ohio, with Pastor Martin Roth officiating.
