Elizabeth Ann Hartman

Warren, Ohio - Elizabeth Ann Hartman, age 43, died on Thursday, May 12, 2011 in a trucking accident in Bath Township, Ohio. She was born on July 7, 1967 in Greenville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Barbara Jane Bequeath-Getzy and Rodney Lee Hartman. A 1986 graduate of Joseph Badger High School, Liz was formerly of Gustavus, Ohio. She also graduated from TDDS Truck Driver Training and has been driving in North East Ohio, Michigan and New York for PI&I Trucking of Masury for over seven years. She loved driving truck and letting her wings fly free. She was a member of the Gustavus Federated Church and the Trucking Teamsters. On April 1, 2006 she married David S. Getz. Liz was an animal lover and rescued her three dogs, Bruiser, Killer and Boxer. She is preceded in death by her dad, Rodney L. Hartman. Survivors include her husband David of Warren, Ohio; her mother, Barbara J. (Paul) Getzy of Edgewater, Florida; a sister, Constance Lee (Russell) Drake-Mathews of Warren, Ohio; three brothers, Bill Sherman Flowers and Michael Edward Thomas Flowers both of Warren, Ohio and Rodney A. Hartman of Gustavus, Ohio; her step-mother, Judy A. Hartman of Gustavus, Ohio; a step-sister, Jennifer M. (Todd) Bell of Labolt, South Dakota; two step-brothers, Richard G. (Melissa) Matlick and Russell Kost and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2011 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio.
