Elizabeth Joan "Betty" McGrath

Warren, Ohio - Elizabeth Joan McGrath, age 88, died on Wednesday, October 3, 2018. She was born on April 19, 1930 in Warren, Ohio a daughter of Ann (Hemrock) and John Valentino Larese. A Johnston resident for over fifty-seven years, Mrs. McGrath resided in Warren for the past three years. On May 17, 1949 she married John Wade McGrath, Sr. She worked for Johnson Rubber of Middlefield and Kennametal of Orwell along with running the family farm. Mrs. McGrath was a member of the Johnston Federated Church. She enjoyed reading and doing puzzles. Mrs. McGrath is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of fifty-seven years, Wade McGrath; her son, John Wade McGrath, Jr. and her brother, Richard Louis Larese. Survivors include her sister, Mary Ann Spencer of Howland, Ohio; two grandchildren, Autumn L. McGrath and John Wade McGrath, III.
