Elwin "Ken" K. Hill,

Andover, Ohio - Elwin Kendal "Ken" Hill, III, age 81, died on Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at his home, with his family by his side. He was born on December 24, 1932, in Cleveland, Ohio, a son of Grace (Myers) and Elwin Kendal Hill, Jr. Ken served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict with Company I 160th Infantry Regiment. On September 16, 1955, he married Clara Ruth Dare. Ken was the owner & operator of ABC Heating & Cooling and formerly worked for Thompson Heating & Cooling of Warren, Ohio. He was a member of the Andover Masonic Lodge F & AM, and enjoyed cooking, gardening and working on cars & motorcycles. Ken is preceded in death by his parents; a son Elwin K. Hill, IV and son-in-law, Gene Frey. Survivors include his wife of fifty-nine years, Clara R. Hill of Andover, Ohio; two daughters, Pamela J. (Bruce) Pavlovski of Andover, Ohio and Linda L. Hill of Chautauqua Lake, New York; son-in-law, Donald Lautenan of New Lyme, Ohio; two sisters, Burdette (John) Schaefer of Andover, Ohio and Marsha Nejbauer of New Berry Florida; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
