Emma A. Latimer, 98, of Gustavus, Ohio, died Wednesday, October 19, 2005, in Warren, Ohio. She was born on December 25, 1906 in Warren, Ohio to Blaine G. and Emma E. (Taft) Beach. Formerly of Warren, Ohio, Mrs. Latimer graduated from Warren High School in 1925, moving to Gustavus, Ohio in 1976. Mrs. Latimer was an executive secretary for Hillside Hospital for over 21 years, retiring in 1981. She married Carl W. Latimer on April 24, 1930. He died in April of 1974. Mrs. Latimer attended the Gustavus Federated Church and was a member of the Gustavus Ladies Community Aide. She enjoyed knitting, needlework, making crafts and watching the Cleveland Indians play. Along with her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, a sister Ida L. Beach, a brother, Stanley Beach, a grandson, David Bennett and two granddaughters, Pamela Latimer and Brenda Crawford Methot. She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie J. (Edward) Crawford of Gustavus, Ida M. "Toots" (David) Bennett Griffey of Girard, Ohio, two sons, Blaine G. (Florence) Latimer of Greenvalley, Ariz, and Glen E. (Sandra) Latimer of Fowler, Ohio, 14 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 24, 2005 at 11:00 A. M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio with Rev. Steven W. Trimble officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, in Warren, Ohio. Calling hours will be on Sunday, October 23, 2005 at the funeral home from 2:00 P. M. to 4:00 P.M.
