Johnston, Ohio - Ernest G. Klein, Sr., age 56, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 9, 2009, following a brief illness. He was born on October 16, 1952 the son of Geraldine B. (Rowland) and Kenneth G. Klein. A 1972 graduate of Maplewood High School, Mr. Klein was a lifelong Johnston township resident. Mr. Klein was formerly employed with Trumbull Metropolitan Housing Authority in Niles for over seventeen years and Shaffer Equipment of Warren, Ohio. On August 27, 1977, he married Carol Marie Drnek. He attended Shiloh Full Gospel Church of Liberty, Ohio. Mr. Klein was a member of the Carroll F. Clapp F&AM Masonic Lodge no.655 of Warren, Ohio. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, 4-wheelers, boating, camping and fishing. Mr. Klein is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Danyelle M. Klein who died on August 28, 2005. Survivors include his wife of thirty-two years Carol M. Klein of Johnston, Ohio; a son, Ernest G. (Anissa) Klein, Jr. of Johnston, Ohio; two brothers, Brent L. (Eva) Klein and Kenneth N. (Bonnie) Klein both of Johnston, Ohio and two grandsons, Nohl and Luca Crabb. A celebration of life for Mr. Klein will be held on Monday, September 14, 2009 at 6:00pm at the Shiloh Full Gospel Church 1310 Shannon Road, Girard, Ohio, with Rev. Nicholas Furrie Jr. officiating. Food and fellowship will follow in the church hall. Memorial contributions may be made to the church, 1310 Shannon Road, Girard, Ohio 44420.
