Ethel Logan Colwell

Monroe, North Carolina - Ethel Logan Colwell, age 90, died on Thursday, July 19, 2012. She was born on March 17, 1922, in Gustavus, Ohio, a daughter of Bessie J. (Evans) and Grover O. Logan. Mrs. Colwell was a 1939 graduate of Gustavus High School. On September 14, 1946, she married George J. Colwell. She was a member of the Kinsman United Methodist Church, Gustavus Mothers Club, Gustavus VFW Auxiliary . She worked for Nickles Bakery until she retired in 1985. Enjoyed Bowling, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, reading and crocheting Mrs. Colwell is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 47 years, a daughter Donna E. Colwell; a son Timothy L. Colwell; a sister Marian L. Sutliff; a brother, Francis E. Logan. Survivors include two sons, Dale (Barbara) Colwell of Monroe, North Carolina, Allan (Christine) Colwell of Bluffton, Indiana; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 11:00am at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio, with Linda Walton officiating.
