Eugene R. Mullett

Eugene R. Mullett, 54 years old, died on Friday, January 7, 2005, at home. Mr. Mullett was born on June 8, 1950, in Greenville, PA, to the late Carl E. Mullett and Lillian Mullett of Kinsman, Ohio. A life long Kinsman area resident, Mr. Mullett worked as a material handler at Kraftmaid in Middlefield for only a brief time, due to being diagnosed with cancer. Prior to that, he had worked for 32 years as a steel worker at Copperweld/CSC in Warren until the plant closed in 2001. He attended the Cherry Valley First Church of God in Cherry Valley Twp., Ohio. He married Helyn Hines on October 24, 1969. An avid outdoorsman, Mr. Mullett enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, among other things involved with the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife, Helyn E. Mullett of Kinsman, OH; his daughter, Nickie (John) Matson of Kinsman, OH; his son, Ryan E. (Nicole) Mullett of Niles, OH; his mother, Lillian Mullett of Kinsman, OH; his brother, Rodney Mullett of Hartford, OH; his three sisters, Diana Palm of Kinsman, OH; Carla Keefer of Champion, OH; and Yvonne Stevens of Kinsman, OH; and his four grandsons, Lee Matson; Taylor Matson; Paul Mullett; and Ryan Mullett. A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 10, 2005, at the Kinsman Cemetery chapel at 11:00a.m. Calling hours will be on Sunday, January 9, 2005, from 2p.m. to 5p.m. at the Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman.
