Eugene Ralph Nowakowski

Andover, Ohio - Eugene Ralph "Geno" Nowakowski, age 80 died on Friday, November 18, 2016. He was born on December 21, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio, a son of Stella (Siwek) and Peter Nowakowski. A 1953 graduate of East High School in Cleveland, Ohio, Geno was formerly of Highland Heights, Ohio. A resident of Williamsfield, Ohio, since 1979, Geno married Wilda Eyvonne Evitts on march 13, 1954. He owned and operated George D. Cornell Painting Contractors Incorporated. Geno belonged to the Painters Union Hall and enjoyed golfing and bowling. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Joseph Nowakowski. Survivors include his wife of sixty-two years, Wilda E. Nowakowski of Williamsfield, Ohio; five sons, Stephan (Charlotte) Nowakowski of Andover, Ohio, Christopher (Doreen) Nowakowski of Pierpont, Ohio, Paul (Patricia) Nowakowski of Madison, Ohio, Jeffrey (Linda) Nowakowski of Mentor, Ohio, Andrew (Melody) Nowakowski of Williamsfield, Ohio; a brother, Ralph (Debbie) Nowakowski of Prescott, Arizona; twelve grandchildren, Jen, Adam, Todd, Jessica, Josh, Nichole, Amber, Justin, Samantha, Alex, Austin and Grant; thirteen great grandchildren and former daughter-in-law Debbie Nowakowski. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
