Eugene D. Rice

EUGENE D. RICE, age 41, of Warren, Ohio, died Friday, December 7, 2007, at Concord Care Center in Fowler township,OH. He was born April 5, 1966, in Greenville, Pennsylvania, the son of Douglas A. and Violet Jean (Parks) Rice. Formerly of Jamestown, Pennsylvania, Eugene was a 1985 graduate of Jamestown High School. He had been a resident of Warren for the last twenty years. He was employed by Kraft Maid in Middlefield for the past ten years; and formerly by Fagens in Cortland for ten years. Eugene enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steeler games, hunting, and nature. He is survived by his wife, Julie A. (Armstrong) Rice, whom he married January 28, 2000, of Warren; his step son, Corey Hurst of Warren; his parents, Douglas and Violet Rice of Jamestown, PA; his brother, James Rice of Kinsman, OH; one niece; and three nephews. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Walter and Ollie Rice; and his maternal grandparents, John and Ruby Parks; and several aunts and uncles. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 7:00 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St., Kinsman,OH. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
