Eva M. Torreance

Eva M. Torreance, age 58, of Cortland, Ohio, died Friday, January 20, 2012, at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren, Ohio. She was born October 6, 1953, in Warren,Ohio, a daughter of George Henry and Frances Rose (Beckwith) Welchman. A lifetime time area resident, Mrs. Torreance was employed as a press operator for Normandy Products in Middlefield, Ohio, for the past 15 years. She enjoyed camping, riding motorcycles, sewing, baking, and singing. Mrs. Torreance is survived by her husband of 30 years, John L. Torreance of Cortland; a daughter, Glenda (Kris) Alloway of Warren,OH, son, Arthur Torreance of Kinsman, OH, son, Albert (Jen) Torreance of Kinsman, OH, Alan (Laurie) Torreance of Kinsman, OH, son, Thomas Torreance of Niles,OH, daughter, Rachel Holbrook of Cortland, OH, step daughter, Jody (Joe) Grant of Cleveland,OH; one sister, Benetta (Miles) Beckwith of Middlefield,OH; one brother, Clarence Welchman of Middlefield, OH; 10 Grandchildren; and 3 Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Steven Welchman and George Welchman. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2012 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 8569 Main St., Kinsman, Ohio.
