Kinsman, Ohio - EVELYN M. ARNOLD, 81, of Kinsman, Ohio, died Friday, November 18, 2005 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 13, 1924, in Washington, Pennsylvania to Samuel W. and Macie (Hunter) Miller. Mrs. Arnold worked at Westinghouse during World War II, later becoming the Head Cook at Joseph Badger High School for many years, retiring in 1986. She participated in the ground breaking ceremonies for the Pymatuning Lake Dam at Jamestown, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Arnold was a member for over 50 years of the Kinsman United Methodist Church, and the United Methodist Women assisting with many of the wonderful meals provided to the community. She was a member of the Chat & Patch club, the Charity Circle and volunteered for the American Red Cross at the many blood drives in Kinsman. Mrs. Arnold enjoyed crafts, gardening, and refinishing and upholstering furniture. She married Robert R. Arnold on February 23, 1946. He died on October 10, 2000. She is also preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Linda J. Arnold who died on October 16, 2005, 3 brothers Kenneth, Thomas and Harry Miller, and 2 sisters Mary Keeley and Zona Vice. Mrs. Arnold is survived by her son, Robert C. Arnold and wife Virginia,of Kinsman, grandson, Carl and wife Helen Arnold, grandson, Christopher Arnold, and great grandson, Henry Arnold, brother, Harold Miller, and sisters, Marjorie Jennings, Florence Williams, and Catherine Foltz. Funeral services will be held at Noon on Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at the Kinsman United Methodist Church, 8362 Main St., Kinsman, with calling hours from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services. Burial will follow in Kinsman Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the church at P.O. Box 218, Kinsman, Ohio 44428.
