Everett C. Artman, 90 years old, of Johnston Township, OH, died at home on Thursday, April 7, 2005. Mr. Artman was born on May 18, 1914, in Vernon, Ohio, to the late Winifred Artman and the late Margaret M. (Braunn) Artman. A long time Johnston Township resident, Mr. Artman retired from LTV Steel, the former Republic Steel. He was a graduate of Wayne High School; and he served in the United States Army during World War II in the European Theatre. Mr. Artman enjoyed traveling, dining out, playing cards, and he was an avid Cleveland Indians and Browns fan. Mr. Artman married Mary E. (Hall) Bush on January 18, 2002. Preceding him in death are his parents; his first wife, Marian (Booth); his son, Ronald Artman in 1978; and his sister, Lois Langraft. He is survived by his wife, Mary E. Artman of Johnston Twp., OH; his grandson, Robert Artman of Johnston Twp., OH; his sister, Mildred (Yale) Epstine of Tucson, AZ; and eight step children, Bruce, Michael, Clyd, and John Bush; and Judy Fleming, Eileen Russo, Sandy Rusnack, and Karyn Huffman. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at 11:00a.m. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St., Kinsman, OH, with Rev. Erwin M. Urschitz, of the Vernon United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Ridge Cemetery, West Salem Township, PA.
