Sharon, Pennsylvania - Freda Christine Baker, age 64, died on Friday, May 31, 2024, in Sharon, Pennsylvania. She was born April 18, 1960, in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of Barbara Ann (Pietrusinski) and Robert Emmett Baker, Sr. Chris was a 1978 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School, and earned her LPN nursing degree. Formerly of Greene and Warren, Ohio, Chris was residing in Sharon for the past ten years. She was formerly a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Kinsman, Ohio.
In her retirement Chris was a crossing guard for the Sharon School District. She loved dogs and horses and was active in 4-H in her younger years. Chris was an avid movie fan, enjoying the latest movies on the big screen.
She is preceded in death by her father, Bob Baker; her first husband, Randall Smith; second husband John Spala; and her six year old son Cody Nicholas Smith. Survivors include her daughter, Karina N. Henry of Akron, Ohio; her mother, Barbara A. Baker of Greene, Ohio; brother, Robert E. (Janet) Baker, Jr. of Arizona; Susan M. (Randall) Rickard of Ohio; and two grandchildren, Arkayde E. and Jett E. Henry.
A private burial will be held in Greenlawn Cemetery in Greene, Ohio.
