Floyd A. Kaufman

Floyd A. Kaufman, 74 years old, of Vernon, Ohio, died on Sunday, March 6, 2005, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio. Floyd was born on September 18, 1930, in Armstrong County, PA, to the late Homer J. Kaufman and the late Isabelle (Boyer) Kaufman. Formerly of Lowellville, Ohio, Mr. Kaufman was a Vernon, Ohio, resident since 1974. He married Anna J. Conn on November 18, 1952 Mr. Kaufman did Iron work for the former Valley Mold & Iron in Hubbard, Ohio, for 24 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of the Iron Workers Union and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and working on cars and trucks. He is survived by his wife if 52 years, a daughter, P. Elaine Dohman of Kinsman, and 2 sons, John A. Kaufman of Kinsman and Daryl J. Kaufman of Jackson Center Pennsylvania, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; and infant brother; two sisters, Evelyn Conn and Velma Shope; and a brother, Donald Kaufman. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2005, at 11:00a.m. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio, with Pastor Gregory Davis officiating. Burial will follow in West View Cemetery, Vernon, Ohio. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, March 8, from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the funeral home and on Wednesday, March 9th from 10:00a.m. until the time of services.
