Ford V. Baxter, age 78, of Kinsman, died April 14, 2005, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was born April 25, 1926, to Ford O. and Florence (Jones) Baxter, in Masury, Ohio. A longtime Kinsman resident, Mr. Baxter graduated from Kinsman High School in 1944. Mr. Baxter was the owner of Baxter Marina and Trailer sales for over 16 years. He married Mae M. Thompson on August 26, 1953. Mr. Baxter served in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of the Kinsman American Legion Harry Lees Post #506. Along with his family, he loved his horses, dogs and cats. He was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant brother. He is survived by his wife, Mae M. Baxter of Kinsman, OH; his daughter, Lyn D. Malek of Brampton, Ontario; his son, Ford F. Baxter of Kinsman, OH; his sister, Rachel Goss of Houston, TX; and grandchildren, Sarah, Maegan, Kira and Heather Malek of Brampton, Ontario; and grandsons, Fred Baxter of the U.S. Navy and Todd Baxter of Kinsman, Ohio.
