Gustavus, Ohio â�" Frances Jane Wildman, age 91 of Gustavus, Ohio, died on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Windsor House at Champion. She was born on July 14, 1919, in Howland, Ohio, the daughter of Elda J. (Brostmeyer) and Cecil Frank Swager. Mrs. Wildman was a 1937 graduate of Howland High School. On April 26, 1937, she married Gerald Robert Wildman in Ripley New York. They moved to Gustavus in 1953 where together they farmed. She was a member of the Gustavus Federated Church and served in several capacities. Mrs. Wildman was also a member of the Gustavus and Pomona Grangeâ�™s, Gustavus Community Aid, Young Agriculture Farm Bureau Council, Trumbull County Farm Bureau, Ashtabula Wagon Trails Association, Kinsman Golden Aires, Gustavus Mothers Club, U & I Literary Club, a charter member of the Gustavus Historical Society, a lifetime member of the Liberty Historical Society and of the Trumbull County Hobby Club. Mrs. Wildman served as a 4-H Leader in sewing and enjoyed gardening, playing cards, traveling, dancing, doing genealogy and research of her family as well as Trumbull County forefathers and above all spending time with her family. Mrs. Wildman is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of seventy-two years, who died on December 12, 2009; a sister, Lucille A. Wayner; two brothers, Edward H. and Kenneth B. Swager and a daughter in law, Nancy J. Wildman. Survivors include a daughter, Janice E. Wildman of Seattle, Washington; four sons, Rodger G. (Nancy) Wildman, Roland H. (Sandy) Wildman both of Gustavus, Ohio, Dr. Gary C. (Linda) Wildman of Germantown, Tennessee and Dennis R. (Beth) Wildman of Gustavus, Ohio; a sister, Dorothy M. Forester of Cortland, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 11:00am at Gustavus Federated Church, 8850 State Route 193 Gustavus, Ohio with Rev. Karl Bucey officiating. Burial will follow in Gustavus Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 16th from 5:30 until 8:00pm at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio.
