Francis B. "Junior" Jewett,

Gustavus, Ohio - Francis B. "Junior" Jewett, Jr. age 66, died on Sunday, March 17, 2013, at UPMC Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was born on July 7, 1946, in Gustavus, Ohio the son of Alicia (Watson) and Francis Best Jewett, Sr. A lifelong resident of Gustavus, Junior owned and operated Ike Jewett & Son Company of Gustavus. He belonged to the Moose Lodge of Mecca and the Fox & Coon Hunters Association. Junior enjoyed racing cars, going hunting and fishing and he raised squirrel, coon and rabbit dogs. He is preceded in death by his parents; and half-brother, Richard A. Jewett. Survivors include his son, Scott Lee (Elisabeth) Jewett of Gustavus, Ohio; four grandchildren, Courtney, Katilynn, Dustin and Dillan. He was loved by his many nieces and nephews and will be missed by all. Private services were held by the family.
