Frank Campbell, Jr., age 89, of Kinsman,Ohio, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at the Cortland Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was born December 7, 1923, in Logan,Ohio, a son of Frank Campbell, Sr. and Elizabeth (Settles) Campbell. A resident of Kinsman since 1978, Mr. Campbell was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Navy. He was employed as branch manager for Fruehauf ; and retired from the Department of Human Services in Warren in 1995. He was a member of the Kinsman Presbyterian Church; the Rotary Club of Warren; and was a 32nd Degree Mason. Mr. Campbell enjoyed flying his Cessna plane and flew coast to coast. He is survived by his wife, Janet A. (Bowditch) Campbell, whom he married March 29, 1980, of Kinsman; his two sons, Frank (Kathy) Campbell of Cleveland,OH, and John (Cindy) Campbell of Grand Rapids, MI; his step children, Marie (Jim) Wallace of Titusville, FL, Daryl (Kathy) Stone of Chardon,OH, Christopher (Michelle) Stone of Chardon,OH, Van (Colleen) Stone of Broadview Heights,OH, and Robyn (Mike) Bollinger of Chardon,OH; 15 Grandchildren; several Great Grandchildren; and his two faithful companions, Penny and DD. He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Patricia A. (Burns) Campbell; and three sisters, Ruth Ann Bowers, Mary Jane Bacus, and Helen Campbell. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 1, 2013, at 11:00 AM at the Kinsman Presbyterian Church, 6383 Church St.,Kinsman,OH, with his son, Pastor John Campbell and Rev. Susan Francis officiating. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna, OH. Calling hours will be on Sunday, June 30th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 8569 Main St., Kinsman,OH.
