Frank H. Russell

Cherry Valley, Ohio - Frank H. Russell, age 71, died on Wednesday, August 20, 2008. He was born on February 4, 1937, in Cleveland, Ohio the son of the late Willard C. and Eleanor I. (Weizer) Russell. Mr. Russell was a 1955 graduate of Deming New Lyme High School. He did some construction work with Schloss Paving Company and later owned and operated his own semi truck. Mr. Russell was employed by several companies over the years; Trans American Freight Lines, Lower Lakes Carrier, Detrex Company, Lock Machine and Maxwell Industries. Mr. Russell was a member of the Cherry Valley United Methodist Church. He enjoyed woodworking, salvaging, and watching old western movies. Mr. Russell is preceded in death by a daughter Elizabeth J. Russell, who died in 1976. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Elizabeth "Betty" J. (Beckwith) Russell, whom he married on August 18, 1956. Other survivors include a son, Matthew W. Russell of Cherry Valley, Ohio and a brother, John H. (JoAnne) Russell of Cherry Valley, Ohio. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the Cherry Valley United Methodist Church, corner of St. Rt. 6 and 193.
