Fred E. Hoover

KINSMAN-Fred E. Hoover, age 80, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the Hospice House in Warren.

Born May 22, 1943 in Raymilton, PA, he was a son of the late William Frank and Bessie (Perrine) Hoover. On April 2, 1966, he married the love of his life, Mary McPheron. For 26 years, Fred worked at Valley Mold in Hubbard and then retired in 2006 from KraftMaid Cabinetry in Middlefield. Fred enjoyed fishing any chance he got. 

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 57 years, Mary Hoover; son, Shawn Hoover; grandson, Brandon Hoover; great-granddaughter, Isabella Tallman; sisters, Erla Lewis, Mildred Contestable, and Joanne Brent. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kevin Hoover; grandson, Glenn Furr; brothers, Lloyd Hoover, Carl Hoover, and Paul Heister; sisters, Edna Hoover, Elsie Wheeler and Vera McCullough.

Visitation will be held from 3PM-5PM on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman OH 44428, immediately followed by the memorial service starting at 5PM. Pastor Mark Biel, pastor of Rock of Grace Family Ministries, will be officiating.
