Gail A. Lahti

Kinsman, Ohio, - Gail Ann Lahti, age 55, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 15, 2009, after a long battle with kidney failure. She was born on August 28, 1954, in Conneaut, Ohio, the daughter of the late Joan D. (Heckman) and Norman D. Snow. On September 16, 1972 she married Sulo Maynard Lahti. Gail attended the Rock of Grace Family Ministries of Kinsman, Ohio. She enjoyed cooking, cross-stitching and baking. She owned and operated Gail's Gourmet Baskets and Pastries, serving the best homemade goods to the area. Her family was very important to her and came first. Gail is survived by the love of her life and husband of thirty-seven years S. Maynard Lahti of Kinsman, Ohio; her daughter, Emily J. and husband Benjamin Pittman of Kinsman, Ohio; two granddaughters, Lily and Anna Pittman of Kinsman, Ohio; a sister, Penny (Steve) Forsythe of Chardon, Ohio and a brother, Randy Snow of Espyville, Pennsylvania. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2009 at 3:00pm at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio, with Pastor Mark Biel officiating. Private burial will be held in Williamsfield Center Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2009 from 3:00pm until 6:00pm at the funeral home.
