Gaston S. Leviege

Andover, Ohio - Gaston S. Leviege, age 85, died on January 5, 2009, in Andover, Ohio. He was born on February 25, 1923 in Marksville, Louisiana, the son of the late Joseph O. and Mary (Mae) Leviege. Mr. Leviege served in the United States Army from 1938 to 1942. A long time Andover resident, Mr. Leviege was a self-employed mason. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is preceded in death by a son Richard Leviege and an infant son Julian P. Leviege; a brother, Joseph Leviege Jr. and a sister Marie Leviege. Survivors include his wife Rose Mary Leviege of Andover, Ohio; four daughters, Barbary J. (Murphy) West, Joyce A. (Willie) both of Ashtabula, Ohio, Diettra L. (Phil) Becar of Andover, Ohio, and Laura J. Thomas of Ashtabula, Ohio; two sons, Gilbert (Gayle) Leviege of Andover, Ohio and Caleb M. Leviege in the United States Air Force, Bellevue, Nebraska; twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
