George A. Bonekovic

Kinsman, Ohio - George A. Bonekovic, age 72, died on September 5, 2007 at his home. He was born on August 1, 1935, in Farrell, Pennsylvania to Frank T. and Anna (Mihalson) Bonekovic. A longtime Kinsman resident, Mr. Bonekovic was a 1953 graduate of Hickory High School. Mr. Bonekovic served in the United States Navy, having served overseas. He was a machinist for Taylor-Winfield of Warren, Ohio for 35 years, retiring in 1990. Mr. Bonekovic enjoyed tending his yard and going on gambling trips. On September 26, 1958, he married Carole Ann Holler. She precedes him in death, along with his parents and a brother, Frank Bonekovic. Survivors include two sons, Chris V. and wife Lisa Bonekovic of Las Vegas, Nevada and Kelly D. Bonekovic of Cortland, Ohio; and grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio. Burial will follow in Kinsman Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 12th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
