George G. Ruzga

Jefferson, Ohio - George Gordon Ruzga, age 92, died on Sunday, August 12, 2018. He was born on February 12, 1926 in Mosinee, Wisconsin a son of Catherine (Tomczak) and Jacob Ruzga. A longtime Richmond resident, Mr. Ruzga served in the United States Army during World War II. On January 20, 1952 he married Martha Ann Lawyer. He worked for many years for Rock Creek Aluminum and then General Electric of Andover. Mr. Ruzga was a member of the Richmond United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the VFW and Grange. Mr. Ruzga enjoyed maintaining his lawn, pond and vegetable garden. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of thirty-three years, Martha A. Ruzga; an infant son Joseph Ruzga; a sister, Agnes Kukulka and two brothers, Alfred and Clifford Ruzga. Survivors include his three daughters, Patricia (Richard Jackson) Ruzga of Dorset, Ohio, Pamela (Randy) Amy of Andover, Ohio and Elizabeth (Chet Ramey) Ruzga of Novelty, Ohio; four grandchildren, Justin, Erin, Jenna and Caleb.
