Glennice M. Sparber, 91, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at the Hospice of the Valley in Youngstown.
A lifelong resident of Williamsfield, Glennice was born on June 14, 1933, a daughter of the late Walter and Helen (McChesney) Fleming.
For 38 years, she worked as the “Gal Friday” (secretary/bookkeeper) at Welded Tubes in Orwell before retiring on June 27, 2008.
Throughout her long and fulfilling life, Glennice developed a passion for sewing and reading, hobbies that brought her immense joy and shaped her creative spirit. Glennice dedicated her life to the things she loved, leaving behind a legacy filled with warmth and affection.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Debra Baldwin (Wood), Shawn (Tony) Tirabassi and Kim (Beaver) Bish; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Judy Fleming as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard, Roy, Kenneth and Budd Fleming; sister, Eukie Diday; son-in-law, Michael Wood and grandson, Michael Wood.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 10:30am to 11:30am at Baumgardner Funeral and Cremation Service, 134 Prospect Street, Andover OH 44003, immediately followed by the funeral service starting at 11:30am. Private burial will take place in Williamsfield Center Cemetery.
