Glyn H. Jones

Glyn H. Jones, age 80, of Andover, Ohio, died Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at St. Joseph Emergency Center in Andover. He was born March 8, 1935, in Bangor, Great Britain, a son of Hugh and Margaret Ann (Lucas) Jones. He married Maureen (Williams) Jones on March 26, 1955 in Great Britain. Formerly of Windsor, Canada, Mr. Jones had been a resident of Andover since 1969. He owned and operated Jones Technical in Andover, the former Locke Machine Co., for many years. He was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and Andover Rotary Club in Andover. Mr. Jones enjoyed cross stitching and was very talented creating many pieces throughout the years. Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Maureen Jones of Andover; son, Stephen Jones of Andover; daughter, Sharon Wood of Andover; son, Gary Jones of Weekiwachee, FL; daughter, Lynn Haak of Jacksonville, FL; sister, Pauline Ward of Windsor, Ontario; 8 Grandchildren; and 8 Great Grandhildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Kevin H. Jones; and three brothers. Mr. Jones will be cremated and private services will be held for family.
