Grace G. Bezdek

GRACE G. BEZDEK, age 93, of Cherry Valley Township, Ohio, died Monday, March 12, 2007, at Serenity Manor in Orwell, Ohio. She was born February 22, 1914, in Madison, OH, to James and Sally (Pethel) Whipple. Mrs. Bezdek retired from the Madison school system where she was a cook for many years. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren; and enjoyed crocheting and flowers. Mrs. Bezdek married Elmer R. Bezdek on November 23, 1935. He died on Jan. 26, 1996. Also preceding her in death are her two sisters, Peg Fenlason and Bee Schaeffer; and three brothers, Ray, Bud, and Earl Whipple. She is survived by two daughters, Jan Buber of Cherry Valley Township, OH, Linda Viney of North Bloomfield,OH; and one son, Don (Dana) Bezdek of Kirtland,OH; two sisters, Dorothy Skidmore of Nevada, and Madge Wheeler of Athens, OH; five grandchildren, Greg Buber, Christine (Vick) Sutton, Richard (Melissa) Viney, Don (Aimee) Bezdek, and Dan Bezdek; and eight great grandchildren, Greg Buber, Jr., Nichole Buber, Charlie Buber, Victor Sutton, Marissa Sutton, Taylor Edelman, Clayton Bezdek, and Addison Bezdek. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
