Grace M. Dean

GRACE M. DEAN, age 67, died Monday, December 22, 2008, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Andover, Ohio. She was born on Jan. 5, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio to Anthony and Harriet (Lysiak) Mankes. Formerly of Garfield Heights, Ohio , Mrs. Dean had lived in Andover the past two years. She was a homemaker who enjoyed ceremics, crocheting, and spending time with her family. Mrs. Dean is preceded in death by her parents, her grandson, Elliot Dean, and her granddaughter, Angel Kansy. Surviving her are her husband, Robert E. Dean, whom she married on May 28, 1958; her daughters, Michelle L. (Ron) Shay of Garrettsville, OH, Sue M. (Larry) Cole of Parma, OH, and Sherrie A. (Greg) Killian of Twinsburg,OH; her sons, Bob E. (Cathy) Dean of Brecksville, OH, Ronald A. (Sheri) Dean of Garfield Heights, OH, and Rick A. (Debbie) Dean of Hunkers, PA; her brother, Donald (Marge) Mankes of North Ridgeville, OH; her sister, Pat (David) Humphrey of Noesettmie, CA; and 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Services will be held on Friday, Dec. 26, 2008 at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio at 6:00 PM, where calling hours will be from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
