Grace Noble Rieth, age 85, of Kinsman,Ohio, died Thursday night, December 24, 2009 at UPMC Horizon Hospital in Greenville, PA. She was born July 6, 1924 in Farmdale, OH, the daughter of Albert E. and Florence M. (Logan) Noble. A lifetime Kinsman resident, Grace graduated from Kinsman High School in 1942 and enjoyed attending the Alumni Banquet each year. She was a postal clerk for the Kinsman Post Office for 28 years, retiring in 1985. Grace married Henry "Hank" Rieth on March 8, 1947, and he died Sept. 4, 1998. Grace was a member of the Kinsman Presbyterian Church for 72 years, where she served as a trustee; was a member of the Session; and was active her whole life in the Women's Association. She prepared many foods for the church's annual bazaar and was known for her homemade candies. She served as clerk for the Kinsman Cemetery Association from 1958 to 2008. Grace was a charter member of Bronzwood Golf Course; was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing Bridge. In retirement, she enjoyed getting together with her friends for coffee and conversation. She was a great part in the lives of her nieces, nephews, and their families. Grace is survived by her sister, Margaret N. Mahannah of Willoughby, OH; nephew, James (Shirley) Noble of Mesopotamia, OH; niece, Nancy (Larry) Holodnak of Jefferson,OH; niece, Janice (Gary) Barks of Fairport Harbor,OH, and nephew, Greg Bartish of Amherst. She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, James Noble, Sr.; one sister, Mary Emma Bartish; and a nephew, Scott Noble. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Kinsman Presbyterian Church, 6383 Church St., Kinsman,OH, with Rev. Larry Myers officiating. Burial will follow in Kinsman Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Monday, December 28th from 3 P.M. to 6 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St., Kinsman, OH.
