Harold "Bob" Gano

Cortland, Ohio - Harold "Bob" Gano Jr., age 66, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 15, 2009 at his home, with his family by his side. He was born on December 10, 1942, in Warren, Ohio, the son of Margaret M. (Parise) and Harold "Jake" Gano Sr. A 1961 graduate of Howland High School Bob was a resident of Cortland for the past fourteen years. Bob worked for WCI Steel of Warren, Ohio for thirty-eight years and retired in 2000. He married Donna M. Halubka on June 24, 1988. Bob was a member of the Rock of Grace Family Ministries where he was a Champion of Honor. From a young age Bob enjoyed restoring classic cars. Bob is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of twenty-one years, Donna M. Gano; two sons, Dale R. (Lisa) Gano of Mount Pleasant, Texas, and Anthony J. Gano of Hubbard, Ohio; a daughter, Shana D. (Kyle) Fenn of Fowler, Ohio; a sister, Donna M. (James) Minard of Jupiter, Florida; 9 grandchildren, Lindsay, Allison, Joey, Nicholas, Carmen, Caleb, Abigail, Anna and Lydia and a great grandson, Conner. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 5:30pm at Rock of Grace Family Ministries, 6745 State Route 5, Kinsman, Ohio with Rev. Mark Biel officiating.
