Harold E. Weese, age 72, of Kinsman,Ohio, died Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at UPMC Horizon Hospital in Greenville, PA. He was born November 14, 1937, in Beverly, WV, a son of Thomas L. and Myrtle C. (Williams) Weese. Formerly of Elkins, West Virginia, Mr. Weese had been a long time Kinsman resident. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam prior to and during the war. He was employed as a security guard for the Securiatas Co. out of Akron, Ohio, for the past fifteen years. He was formerly employed by Van Huffel Tube in Warren, Ohio for nineteen years as a welder. Mr. Weese enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time in West Virginia with family and riding along the mountain roads. He had a great sense of humor and his grandchildren and great grandchildren meant the world to him. They affectionately called him 'the candy man'. Mr. Weese is survived by his wife, Mary Lee (Pease) Weese, whom he married Oct. 30, 1965, of Kinsman; his daughter, Mia McGath of Kinsman; his son, Michael Ambrose of Warren, OH; his daughter-in-law, Cindy Ambrose of Kinsman; 7 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren; two sisters, Anna Louk of Virginia Beach, VA, and Maxine "Mac" Breitschopf of Bossier City, LA; and three brothers, Bud Weese of Virginia Beach, VA, Dwain Weese of Williamsfield, OH, and Tom Weese of Akron, OH. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, William Ambrose in 2007; grandson, Matthew Ambrose in 1999; four brothers, Buck Weese, Frank Weese, Jink Weese, and Alvin Weese; and two sisters, Ginny Schoonover and Margarette Weese. A memorial celebration will be held at a later date for Mr. Weese. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kinsman United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 218, Kinsman,OH 44428.
