Helen C. Boron, age 84, of Orwell,Ohio, died Sunday, May 8, 2011, in Youngstown,OH. She was born July 24, 1926, in Sharon, PA, a daughter of Michael and Mary (Golias) Horvath. Formerly of Gustavus Township,Ohio, Mrs. Boron had lived in Orwell since 2001. She was employed at P.I.W. in Petroleum, OH; and at G.C. Murphy Co., in Sharon, PA. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Orwell, where she served as an usher and greeter; and volunteered with many clerical duties at the church. Mrs. Boron enjoyed ceramics, attending garage sales and auctions, playing Bingo, and going out to eat. She also loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Boron married Joseph D. Boron on July 24, 1954, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 30, 1999. She is also preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Mike, John, and Joe Horvath. She is survived by her son, Joseph A. (Mary) Boron of Conneaut,OH; her daughter, Dorothy (Eugene) Chalker of Howland,OH; her four grandchildren, Melissa, Carole, Andrea, and Joey; her brother, Robert Horvath of Masury,OH; and her two sisters, Mary Strobl of Kent, OH, and Anne Bobish of Hermitage, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 103 North Maple St., Orwell,OH, with Rev. G. David Weikart officiating. Burial will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday, May 12th from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 8569 Main St., Kinsman, OH.
