Helen M. Macaro

Andover, Ohio - Helen M. Macaro, age 71, of Andover, Ohio, died on August 21, 2006 at UPMC Horizon Hospital following a brief illness. She was born on June 26, 1935 in Brownsville, Pennsylvania to George Legeza Sr. and Suzanne (Grusosky) Legeza. Mrs. Macaro was a 1953 graduate of Conneaut High School. A longtime Conneaut resident Mrs. Macaro moved to Andover in 1997. She was employed at Reliance Electric for thirty years retiring in 1984. Mrs. Macaro was a member of the Reliance retirees golf league and enjoyed spending time with her retirement buddies. She enjoyed playing golf, bowling, reading, and gardening. She is preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Mary Gribble. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia A. (Timothy) Norris of Andover, Nancy L. Claypoole of Garfield Heights; a son Ronald J. (Tracy) Macaro of Phoenix, Arizona; a brother, George Legeza Jr. of Conneaut, Ohio; grandchildren Scot, William (Bree), Donna, Timothy Jr., Bobby, Janelle, Anthony, Amanda and Halley; great grandchildren, Sean, Gabriella, Cameron and Lillian.
