Helene M. "Charlie" Osika

Andover, Ohio - HELENE M. "Charlie" OSIKA, age 50, of Andover, Ohio, died Friday, January 20, 2006, at her residence in Andover, Ohio. She was born on November 21, 1955, in Camden, New Jersey to Joseph W. and Helen M. (Huber) Osika Sr. Formerly of Orwell, Ohio, Ms. Osika was a longtime resident of Andover. She was a 1975 graduate of Pymatuning Valley High School, and achieved a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kent State University. Ms. Osika had been a security guard for the Pymatuning Valley Resort. She was a member of the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Andover. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, going to yard sales, collecting lighthouses, crocheting, spending time with family and friends and going to the ocean. Ms. Osika is preceded in death by her parents. She will be greatly missed and is survived by her son Matthew Joseph Osika of Grafton, Ohio; sisters Mary (Dan) Thompson of Ashtabula, Martha (Bill) Revelt of Andover; brothers, Joseph W. Osika Jr. of Andover, Michael J. Osika of Ashtabula, Martin J. Osika of Kinsman, grandson, Cody, granddaughter, Miranda and cousin, Paula Hilton. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 27, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Main street, Andover, Ohio.
