James A. Fell

James A. Fell, age 91, of Kinsman, OH, died Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Lake Vista of Cortland. He was born April 23, 1923, in Burghill, OH, a son of George and Myrta (Brockway) Fell. A long time area resident, Mr. Fell was a graduate of Vernon High School. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Fell was employed as an inspector for American Welding in Warren, OH, retiring in 1976 after 30 years of service. He and his wife resided in New Port Richey, FL for 15 years. He was a member of the Kinsman Presbyterian Church; and he enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling. Mr. Fell is survived by his wife, Elsie E. (Westenfelder) Fell, whom he married April 23, 1947, of Kinsman; his son, James R. (Sally) Fell of Bay Village, OH; his daughter, Mary K. Fell of Kinsman; two grandsons, Joseph (Sheila) Fell of Cleveland, and James B. Fell of Bay Village; one nephew, Alan (Barbara) McKinley of Ashtabula, OH; and close family friend, Diana Fell of Cleveland. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Willard Fell; and two sisters, Kathryn Pahon and Evelyn McKinley. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 14, 2014, at 11:00 AM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 8569 Main St., Kinsman, OH, with Rev. Susan Francis officiating. Burial will follow in Kinsman Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday, July 13th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
