James William Fitch

Warren, Ohio - James William Fitch, age 76, died on Sunday, September 30, 2012. He was born on March 27, 1936, in Kinsman, Ohio, the son of Mary Alice (Lindsey) and Norman Ormis Fitch. Mr. Fitch was a 1954 graduate of Kinsman High School. He was a Millwright at Copperweld Steel of Champion, Ohio, along with helping on the family farm. On March 18, 1958, he married Marjorie Jane Grimm. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge No. 1012 of Mecca, Ohio. Mr. Fitch enjoyed dancing, farming, gardening, mowing and spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Lavere and Raymond Fitch. Survivors include his wife of fifty-four years, Marge Fitch of Mecca, Ohio; two daughters, Sharon R. Anderson and Nancy J. Smith both of Mecca, Ohio; a son Jeffrey H. Fitch of Mecca, Ohio; two sisters, Mary Lou Donaldson of Greene, Ohio and Betty (Jim) VanGorder of Kinsman, Ohio; two brothers, Marshall Fitch of Ashland, Ohio and John (Alberta) Fitch of Kinsman, Ohio; nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 11:00AM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 4th from 6:00pm until 8:30pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kinsman Fire Department.
