Cortland, Ohio - Jane W. Haynam, age 93, died on Wednesday, January 4, 2012. She was born on October 26, 1918 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Estelle (Boggis) and Richard Horatio Wright. Jane was a 1936 graduate of Cleveland Heights High School and then graduated with a business degree from the former, Flora Stone Mather College of Western Reserve in Cleveland. On September 14, 1940, she married Harvey Henry Haynam, Sr. In 1948 they moved to Kinsman, Ohio, and became members of the Kinsman Presbyterian Church, where Jane served on the Session and the Woman's Association. She also participated in weekly Bible study and the church Bazaar. Jane was active with the Eastminster Presbytery and the Ohio Presbytery Retirement Service & Foundation Board. She also served on the Kinsman Library Board and Youngstown State University Protestant Campus Ministry Board, actively supported the American Red Cross and Scope of Cortland. Jane was a member of the EE Chapter of the PEO Sisterhood, Warren Chapter. She enjoyed knitting, playing golf and bridge. Jane is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of sixty years, Harvey H. Haynam, Sr.; two sisters, Phyllis and Sarah Wright and a brother, Richard H. Wright. Survivors include two daughters, Sarah (John) Hill of Glendale, Wisconsin and Susan (Allen) Gutheim of Santa Fe, New Mexico; two sons, Harvey (Christine) Haynam of Cortland, Ohio and John (Janie) Haynam of Kinsman, Ohio; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 9, 2012 at 11:00am at the Kinsman Presbyterian Church, with Rev. David R.Black officiating. Burial will be in Kinsman Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 8th from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio.
