Janice Carol Stokes

Janice Carol Stokes, 66, of Farrell, PA, died on October 5, 2009 at Sharon Regional Hospital in Sharon, PA. She was born August 3, 1943 to Gerald and Sarah (Anderson) Elser. Mrs. Stokes was a homemaker, who liked playing cards, doing hand-made crafts, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Terry Stokes of North Albany, Indiana, and Tom (Christine) Stokes of Lake Okeechobee, Florida; her daughters, Irene Adkins of Youngstown, Ohio, Tina (Michael) Confer of West Middlesex, PA, and Robin Elhady of Farrell, PA; her brother, Robert Elser of Cortland, Ohio; her granddaughters, Tessy Blanchette, Kayla Kay, Latice Elhady, Kalurie Elhady, and Amari Elhady; her grandsons, Brandon Blanchette, Brandon Adkins, Corey Adkins, and Joshua Watkins; her great grandson, Nyvon Norris; her nephews, Bobby and Mike Elser; and her niece, Sarah Ann Church. Graveside services for burial of cremated remains will be held on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 1:00 PM at West Andover Cemetery, Stanhope-Kelloggsville Rd., Andover, Ohio.
