Jean E. Campbell, age 83, of Andover, Ohio, died Saturday, February 20, 2010, at the Heckathorn Personal Care Home in Jamestown, PA. She was born May 7, 1926, in Linesville,Pennsylvania, a daughter of William and Lottie (Thompson) Headley. A lifetime Andover resident, Mrs. Campbell was employed by General Electric and Target Stamped Products in Andover, and also by the Avtex Plant in Meadville, PA. During World War II she served as a civilian on the Indian Town Gap Army Base in the motor pool. She was an avid golfer and bowler; and she loved playing cards. Mrs. Campbell married Floyd F. Campbell on Sept. 28, 1946, and he died in 1985. She is also preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Beryl Kitsa, Bernice Bollard, Sarah Headley, and Joyce Cotton; and three brothers, George, Wilson, and Howard Headley. She is survived by her daughter, Sherron Miller of Atlantic, PA; her son, Jeff M. Campbell of Richfield,OH; her four grandchildren, Chris Queale, Shawn Queale, Kate Campbell, and Meg Campbell; her three great grandchildren, Lauren Queale, Emma Queale, and Lexi Perrman; her two sisters, Elaine Sherretts and Susan Shunkweiler, and one brother, Dwayne Headley, all of Linesville, PA. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at 11:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church, 181 S. Main St., Andover, Ohio. Burial will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover. Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Care Hospice, 16039 Conneaut Lake Rd., Meadville, PA 16335.
