Jeffrey S. Babb

Jeffrey S. Babb, age 34, of Wayne township, OH, died Friday, May 4, 2018. He was born December 28, 1983, in Greenville, PA, a son of Gary L. and Jody A. (Eastlake) Babb. A lifetime area resident, Jeffrey was a 2002 graduate of Pymatuning Valley High School and A-Tech. He received his Associate's Degree as a diesel mechanic from Owens College in Toledo, OH, where he did his CAT training. Jeffrey was employed by Ohio CAT in Youngstown for 16 years as a heavy equipment mechanic. He was active with P.A.Y.O. and the Lakers Youth Football program. He was an avid outdoorsman having loved to hunt, trap, and fish; and he was a supporter of Ducks Unlimited. Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Chris L. (Clute) Babb, whom he married January 17, 2009, of Wayne township; his son, Gregory M. Babb of Wayne township; his parents, Gary L. and Jody A. Babb of Williamsfield, OH; his sister, Jessica M. Corson of Gustavus township, OH; his grandmother, Joann Eastlake of Williamsfield, OH; and his father-in-law, Dana Clute of Williamsfield, OH. He is preceded in death by an infant child; his grandfather, Millard Eastlake; and mother-in-law, Carol Clute. Private services will be held for the family.
