Jeffrey A. Betts, Jr., age 20, of Vienna, Ohio, died Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at his home. He was born October 14, 1990, in Warren, Ohio, the son of Jeffrey A. Betts, Sr. and Lori G. (Lester). A 2009 graduate of Mathews High School, Jeffrey was employed by West Corporation in Niles, Ohio. He played football and baseball in school and was named All State Football Honorable Mention; and was a fan of all the Cleveland sports teams. He also enjoyed golfing and snowboarding. Jeffrey sang in the show choir "Rainbow" and enjoyed singing and playing guitar, especially for his brothers and sisters. He was very smart and enjoyed being a jokester and class clown. He enjoyed the annual vacations to the ocean with his family; and was very involved in the lives of his brothers, sisters, and cousins. All the kids looked up to him and loved spending time with him. Jeffrey attended the Crossroads Church in Mansfield. He is survived by his mother, Lori G. (Lester) Betts of Howland,OH; his father, Jeff Betts, Sr. of Vienna,OH; his brother, Jake Lester of Howland; his two sisters, Sarah and Hannah Betts, and brother, Joey Betts, all three of Vienna; his maternal grandmother, Jan Lester of Kinsman,OH; his paternal grandparents, Bruce and Janet Betts of Gustavus Township,OH, and Cheryl and Bob Melvin of Kinsman,OH; his paternal great grandmother, Lena Betts of Gustavus Township,OH; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jeffrey is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Carl Timothy Lester. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2010, at 5 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St., Kinsman,OH, with Pastor John Temple from Grace Fellowship Church officiating. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 P.M. until the time of service. A graveside service will be on Monday, November 22nd at 11:00 A.M. at the Kinsman Cemetery chapel.
