Jennie B. Capozzoli

Hermitage, Pennsylvania - Jennie C. Capozzoli, age 100, died on Sunday, January 28, 2018. She was born on November 29, 1917 in Sharpsville, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Antonia (Carachi) and Joseph Bernard. Jennie was a 1935 graduate of Sharpsville High School. Formerly of Cherry Valley, Jennie married Carmen Capozzoli, Sr. on July 3, 1937. She was a surgical assistant for Sharon General Hospital for a few years. Jennie was a member of the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Andover for as long as her health would let her attend. She is preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Richard Shadle; two sisters, Rosie Garafoli and Mary Leccisotti and two brothers, Victor and Rocky Bernard. Survivors include her four daughters, Anita Livermore of Sharon, Pennsylvania, Mary Ann (Jerry) Verdi of New Castle, Pennsylvania, Linda L. (Donald) Smith of Cortland, Ohio and Rosalie Shadle of Cherry Valley, Ohio; a son, Carmen (Rose) Capozzoli, Jr. of Hermitage, Pennsylvania; twelve grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. Burial will be in Cherry Valley Cemetery. No public services will be held.
