Jerry F. "Wheels" Horton, Jr. Drnek, age 37, of Williamsfield,OH, died Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at his home after a lengthy illness surrounded by his family and friends. He was born June 24, 1968 in Greenville, PA to Jerry F. Horton, Sr. and Susan F. Phelps. A lifelong area resident, Mr. Horton was a 1986 graduate of Pymatuning Valley High School. He was employed in the service department at the former John Rugala GM dealership in Andover. He enjoyed playing basketball for the YMCA Hot Wheels, raising funds for the Ronald McDonald House & University Hospitals in Cleveland. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and his dogs, Tory and Cody.Preceding Mr. Horton in death are his father; his paternal grandmother, Nellie Horton; and his grandfather, Joseph Drnek.He is survived by his parents, Raymond and Susan Drnek of Williamsfield,OH, two brothers, Brian R. (Sharon) Drnek, and Brad J. (Michelle) Drnek, both of Williamsfield, OH; maternal grandparents, Delos and Helen Phelps of Williamsfield,OH; two nephews, Dane and Logan Drnek; two nieces, Kennedee and Alana Drnek; and several aunts and uncles. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover,OH, with Pastor James F. Davis officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Burial of cremated remains will take place in Williamsfield Center Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
