Joan Schneider

Joan (McCutcheon) Schneider, 82, passed away on December 11, 2013, at Crystal Waters Retirement Community in Strongsville, OH. She was born to the late Ralph and Ruth (McLaughlin) McCutcheon on December 14 ,1930 in Kinsman, OH. Originally from Kinsman and a resident of Niles, OH, for many years, Joan lived in Strongsville for the past six years. She attended the Kinsman United Methodist Church. She was the beloved mother of Kathy (Richard) Ader of Strongsville, OH, Debbie (Frank) Nott of Calabash, NC, and Susan Huffman of Cortland, OH; cherished grandmother of seven and great grandmother of five; loving sister of Virginia (the late Harold) Knowles of Kinsman, OH. Preceding her in death are her parents; and her sister, Thelma Milligan of Denver, CO. The family would like to thank the staff of Crystal Waters Retirement Community for their loving care and concern for Joan for the past 5 1/2 years and for Compassionate Care Hospice for their care in Joan's last days with us. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 8569 Main St., Kinsman,OH. A private burial of her cremated remains will take place at a later date in Kinsman Cemetery.
