Joan P. Seeholzer

Joan P. Seeholzer, age 75, of Andover, died October 5, 2011, at the Andover Village Retirement Community. She was born June 12, 1936, in Troy, New York, a daughter of Herbert H. and Rose A. (Neille) Blood. A former resident of Cleveland, Mrs. Seeholzer came to Andover in 1996. She was employed by Greyhound and Mellon Financial in Cleveland. She attended the First United Methodist Church of Andover; and her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, and fishing. Mrs. Seeholzer is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Donald Becvar; and her daughter, Debora Kobylinski. She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Seeholzer, whom she married Feb. 6, 1981, of Andover; her son, Michael S. (Marie) Becvar of Hilton Head, SC; and four grandsons, Jeremy Bailey, Jason Bailey, Johrdan Knowles, and Michael D. Becvar. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church, 181 S. Main St., Andover, Ohio, with Rev. Vernon Palo officiating. Cremated remains will be placed at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
