John W. Lattin

John W. Lattin,age 55, of Hartford township, Ohio, died Sunday, November 22, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown. He was born April 29, 1960, in Coudersport, PA, a son of William Russell and Margaret Jean (Karr) Lattin. A resident of Hartford since 1988, John was formerly a long time resident of Coudersport. He was a veteran having served in the United States Army; and was a member of the St. Peter & Paul Byzantine Church in Warren, OH. John had a gift for making those he loved feel special whether it was working as a caregiver, never missing a cross country meet, or cheering them on for academic achievements. John was always there for those lucky enough to be loved by him as well. He will be missed by many family and friends. John is survived by his wife, Lori M. (Adams) Lattin, whom he married September 3, 1988, of Hartford township, OH; his daughter, Valerie (Marcus Fowler) Lattin of Hartford township, OH; his son, Ryan (Ayrinne Lewis) Lattin of Kent, OH; his sister, Amy (Bruce) Moshier of Coudersport, PA; his brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Ron (Elaine) Callen, Hank (Carol) Adams, David (Susan) Bonar, Jim (Lisa) Flowers, and Mark (Pam) Adams; his fifteen nieces and nephews; and fifteen great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. A private service will be held for the family. Memorial contributions can be made for a John W. Lattin Service Scholarship Fund at the funeral home.
