John Wade McGrath

Gustavus, Ohio â�" John Wade McGrath Jr., age 48, died suddenly on Saturday, December 22, 2007. A lifelong area resident, â�œRottenâ₝ was born on October 17, 1959, in Warren, Ohio, the son of John Wade McGrath Sr., and Elizabeth J. (Larese) McGrath. He was a 1978 graduate of Maplewood High School. For the past twenty years he was the owner and operator of Mosquito Four Wheel Drive of Mecca, Ohio. â�œRottenâ₝ was a founding member of the Inland Lakes Sportsmen Club of Kinsman, Ohio. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, riding his Harley Davison, and spending time with his friends. On June 11, 1983, â�œRottenâ₝ married Paula S. Mullen. He is preceded in death by his father, and his father-in-law, Paul Mullen. Survivors include his wife of twenty-four years, Paula S. McGrath, of Gustavus, Ohio, a son, John W. McGrath III, serving in the United States Air Force, stationed in Minot, North Dakota, a daughter, Autumn L. McGrath of Gustavus, Ohio; his mother, Elizabeth J. McGrath of Johnston, Ohio. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 28, 2007, at 11:00 A.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio, with Pastor Mary Prior officiating. Burial will follow in Gustavus Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Thursday, December 27th from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
