John E. Saranetz,

JOHN E. SARANETZ, SR., age 68, of Andover, Ohio, died Monday, November 20, 2006, at Andover Village Retirement Community. He was born February 3, 1938, in Johnstown, PA, to Charles Goral and Mary Saranetz. Formerly of Cleveland and Chardon, Mr. Saranetz had been a resident of Andover for a short time. He served in the United States Air Force, and was employed by the former Gould Foundry in Cleveland for many years. Mr. Saranetz enjoyed playing football, playing cards, and he was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Mr. Saranetz is survived by his son, John Saranetz, Jr., of Andover; and a brother, Edward Goral of Wilmore, PA. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nancy A. (Wranitz), in 1995; and two infant brothers. Mr. Saranetz was a great friend, loving father, and was a very giving person. No services or calling hours will be held. Arrangements are being handled by Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio. Burial of cremated remains will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Portage, Pa.
